I am a writer and adventurer at heart. I am lucky to combine these two passions in my business.

I graduated from the University of Illinois with a B.S. in Advertising, and a minor in English.

​

After college, I served 11 years active duty, flying helicopters in the U.S. Navy. Traveling the world introduced me to the wonder of different places and cultures. I learned a lot about leadership, project management, and teamwork. I also earned an M.A. in National Security and Strategic Studies.

​

I still fly in the Reserves. But my passion is helping businesses that bring people to outdoor adventure. It's a mission that I believe in, and understand very well. I know your adventure-seeking customer, because it's me.

 

I have my pilot's license and scuba certification. I've completed my Level 1 Avalanche and Avalanche Rescue training. I ski around the backcountry and sail around island chains. I run ultra-marathons on mountainous trails and camp in extreme conditions. I spend months every year road-tripping in an adventure van with my husband and two dogs. I love whitewater rafting, skiing, boating, hiking, camping and anything else that helps me feel connected to nature.

Digital marketing is an ever-evolving beast, so I do my best to stay current. In recent years I have earned certifications in Digital Copywriting, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Email Marketing, Content Marketing, Direct Response, Case Studies, White Papers, and Sales Enablement Copywriting.
